[Dawn] LAKKI MARWAT: A would-be boomer was killed and 14 people including women and kiddies were maimed when police thwarted a terror strike and destroyed an explosive laden double-cabin pick-up here on Monday. Officials said that the police opened fire on the pick-up after the driver refused to stop the vehicle on a check post.
