| Mayhem in Juarez: Mexican Federal Agents Rescues 3, Bags 3 Bad Guys |

| Google Translate Mexican Federal agents rescued three kidnapped individuals and killed three armed suspects in three separate operations Wednesday. Mexican Federal agents intercepted a ransom drop at a bank near the corner of Avenida Triunfo de la Republica and Calle Lopez Mateos after they were contacted by the family of a female kidnap victim. Apparently the victim herself was required to take the money from a bank branch. In another caper at a hotel on calle Francisco Javier Mina in the Centro district, Federal agents rescued two men who were held hostage in a guest house on the hotel property. They allegedly were held by the hotel manager identified as Carlos Alberto Parra Ruvalcab, 51, who was arrested by agents. Mexican Federal agents intercepted three armed suspects who were traveling in an SUV in a pursuit near the Juarez Municipal Centro de Readaptacion Social (CERESO) Tuesday morning, killing all three. Reports say the suspects ran a checkpoint on calle Aztecas an act which initiated the pursuit. Suspects aboard the SUV fired on the agents which prompted return fire. A male passenger died in the SUV while the other two suspects were shot to death as they attempted to escape. One of the suspects was identified as Alejandro Juarez Juarez, 26, a resident of El Paso, Texas. One of the weapons seized was a G36 assault rifle, reportedly one of the weapons stolen in a Chihuahua state armory robbery August 9th. Also seized was a .357 Magnum handgun. Magazines and ammunition were also seized in the aftermath. |
