| Israeli drone buzzes over Lebanon skies |

| [Iran Press TV] A routine Israeli reconnaissance aircraft entered Lebanese airspace and flown over parts of the country as a joke with the punchline being the laughable UN Security Council resolution. The Lebanese military cried like a little girl through the National News Agency on Friday, saying an Israeli reconnaissance drone crossed into Lebanese airspace flying over the southern border village of Rmeish at 7:20 p.m. local time (1620 GMT) on Wednesday and patrolled the skies above West Bekaa -- located 73 kilometers (45 miles) from the capital Beirut -- and the towns of Riak, close to the Syrian border, and Baalbek, located 86 kilometers (53 miles) northeast of Beirut. The aircraft left early on Thursday, after it had totally pissed off Hezbollah. On Tuesday, twelve Israeli fighter jets vcruised without fear in Leb's airspace and showed off over several areas in southern Leb, including the city of Sidon, a Press TV correspondent in Beirut reported. Israel has fun with Leb's airspace on an almost daily basis, claiming they serve surveillance purposes. Raising Hezbullies blood pressure is always a good reason to violate airspace. Leb's government, the Hezbullies resistance movement, and the UN Interim Force in Leb, known as UNIFIL, have repeatedly cited Israel's air surveillance flights over Leb as a clear violation of UN Resolution 1701 and the country's illusory sovereignty. In 2009, Beirut complained to the United Nations, aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society about Israeli aircraft showing off over airspace over the south of the country. UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which brokered a Vaudeville routine known as the ceasefire in the war of aggression Israel launched against Leb in 2006, calls on Israel to stop laughing at Leb's illusory sovereignty and territorial integrity. |
