Pakistani on student visa sentenced for jihad activities
2010-10-23
Adnan Mirza, 33, was sentenced to 15 years without parole for unlawfully possessing firearms and conspiring to provide material support to the Taliban, federal officials announced yesterday. He was also fined $9,000.

He came in 2005 to study at a Houston community college, but is still here. He and some friends acquired firearms which they used on weekend camping sessions to train for jihad. Foreign students may not have firearms while in this country. They also collected money to donate to the Taliban.

#2  "Mirza was a good student who regularly fed Houston's homeless and worked with Houston police on a local public access channel to explain Muslim ways to police and citizens."

American mores and customs are just plain irrelevant to this guy. Screw Muslim ways! BTW, As a former INS agent in the 70s and 80s, I was sick of seeing ME males over the age of 25 coming into the U.S. as freshman students in community colleges. A bunch of them now have a healthy respect for U.S. laws.
