| #6 A close alliance between India and Japan makes sense. India has a huge emerging market and Japan has long supply lines to get oil to their shores (and America may not always be there). Also Japan makes some good military stuff and India is probably buying these days. |

| #3 About Burma - aren't they just wasting the time away with the Noble Peace Prize winner stuck in house detention? Unlike China and NKOR, the Karen, and KNA are an existing, ready made internal liberation force. Sure, civil war is horrid, nasty, brutish, etc..., but if any country is ripe for it, isn't Burma? |
