| A judge was subjected to a tirade of abuse in his own courtroom yesterday as he jailed an Al Qaeda-inspired Muslim woman for attempting to assassinate an MP. Islamist protesters harangued Mr Justice Cooke from the public gallery at the Old Bailey, shouting 'Allahu akbar' ('God is great'), 'British go to hell' and 'Curse the judge'. The outbursts came as Roshonara Choudhry, 21, was sentenced to life imprisonment for stabbing former minister Stephen Timms. | #6 Choudhry is an Indian surname. Also Pakistani. It means the four part.It was a name given to administrators under the Moguls. Normally they were given one tenth of taxes collected, but those who did excellent work were given a quarter, hence the name. Normally a name for the land owning class. |

"I do not sentence you to be hung for stealing the sheep you stole, but I sentence you to be hanged in order that further sheep not be stolen by your hand, which by all accounts would happen as assuredly as the setting of the next sun, and shortly thereafter, by you, were you not to be hanged." |
