and arrested five wanted persons in Mosul, media official of the 2nd division of the Iraqi army said.

"A force from the 2nd division of the Iraqi army found a depot, which contains 3.5 tons of explosives, TNT and a number of weapons and arrested five wanted men in eastern Mosul," Colonel Sajed Mahmoud told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.

"The detainees were arrested in accordance with arrest warrants issued against them," he added.

#1  My perspective is that's 14-500lb bombs, but then I downsize it to the actual chemical mix that is in that shell and it looks more like 200 lbs of explosive per 14 units so that's......2800 lbs of explosive. Well that's about 1/3 the weight of my truck, so I'm looking at a pile the size of 1/3 my truck and thinking HOLY SHOEMEISTER thats a lot of boom.

I wonder how it was packaged? Is it really TWO TRUCKS!
