| Army seizes depot in Talafar |

| NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Army forces seized on Tuesday a depot during a security operation in central Talafar, western Mosul, an official army source said. “A force from the 10th brigade of the 3rd division of the Iraqi army seized on Tuesday evening (Nov. 9) a depot, which includes 60 mortar shells, in al-Saray region, central Talafar,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. “Acting on information from a detained gunman, the forces found the depot in a deserted house,” he explained. “Three bombs went off in central marketplace in Talafar, without leaving casualties." Talafar is 60 km west of Mosul, the capital of Ninewa, which lies 405 km north of Baghdad. |
