NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Seven persons, including two policemen, were wounded in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast, the second in western Mosul city on Saturday, a police source in Ninewa said.“The IED attack targeted a federal police patrol in al-Thawra neighborhood, western Mosul. The civilians wounded in the explosion happened to be near the attack site,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
Earlier, an IED blast went of in the same area, leaving a civilian man killed and another wounded.
