(KUNA) -- Nearrly 17 people were killed and several others were reportedly maimed in latest US missile strikes on Tuesday in Pak bordering tribal region of Wazoo, security officials said.Predator drones fired four missiles at a vehicle and a suspected hard boy compound in Ghulam Khan area of North Wazoo tribal agency, they told KUNA.
They said the strikes destroyed the vehicle and the compound, killing some 17 people and wounding several others. Only few minutes later, officials said further that another predator drone fired two more missiles at another house in the same area.
Several persons were reportedly maimed in the second strike but no exact figures were yet available. Some local tribal sources said that most of the killed were suspected foreign faceless myrmidons of Uzbek and Arab origins.
