Gore: Maybe ethanol from corn wasn't such a good idea after all |
2010-11-22 |
And now, dear Al, you understand why W was recommending the use of switchgrass. How are those unintended consequences working out for you and the rest of humanity? Of course, if W saw this coming, so should you have, so it really wasn't an entirely unknown consequence. Gerbil Worming, however, would have been way worse, and would have had no mitigating excuses. |

#2 "First generation ethanol I think was a mistake. The energy conversion ratios are at best very small. "It's hard once such a programme is put in place to deal with the lobbies that keep it going." He explained his own support for the original programme on his presidential ambitions. "One of the reasons I made that mistake is that I paid particular attention to the farmers in my home state of Tennessee, and I had a certain fondness for the farmers in the state of Iowa because I was about to run for president." And there you have it. Stupid, ignorant, and corrupt. |

#1 So, Al, what you are saying is you pandered to Farmes in hopes of getting elected. The Tennessee Farmers didn't take the bait, you didn't win your "home" State. Dickweed. |
