The crossfire between the forces and the perpetrators began at the main road leading to Beautiful Downtown Peshawar from Kohat in the area of Akhurwaal, Darra Adam Khel. During the clash, one soldier identified as Mohammad Shoaib and a person named Fidda Mohammad belonging to Lakki Marwat were martyred, while three others were maimed.
