| #4 I'd say high payouts to poor guards. In Afghanistan, the only thing higher than religion or blood is money. |

| #3 I wonder what kind of guys they are getting for suicide bombers that can get so far into what seems a conference where everyone probably knows each other. High payouts to their families? |

| #1 The bombers targeted a local administration compound in Ghalalnai, the main town in the tribal district of Mohmand, about 175 kilometres northwest of the federal capital Islamabad and near the Afghan border. More than 100 people were believed to have been in the compound where government officials, allied tribal elders and members of local anti-Taliban militia were holding talks. "There were two bombers. They were on foot -both came on motorbikes. The first blew himself up inside the office of one of my deputies while the second one set off explosives when guards caught him." |
