Surrender of two terrorists from the group of Abu Zeid in Tamanrasset
2010-12-16
[Ennahar] The GSPC terrorist organization, led by Abdelmalek Droukdal, alias Abu Mosaab Abdelouadoud, is faced with great difficulties. Its days seem numbered, after the great sweep conducted by the army forces on all fronts.

A terrorist hunt is conducted in the bush in Kabylia, forcing some of them to surrender to the security services with the aim to benefit from the provisions of the law on national reconciliation.

The heads of the terrorist organization are circled, probably, among them the national emir of emirs Droukdal and some heads of phalanges of the central regions.

In this operation, the army has used more than 4000 soldiers and set up all the human and material resources to conduct a broad sweep in the areas of Sidi Ali Bounab and Draa El Mizane up to corpse-littered Boumerdes, Tizi Ouzou and Bouira.

Droukdal and his minions were preparing to organize a congress near Yakouren (Tizi Ouzou), in order to reactivate their activities when they were caught in a trap by the combined forces of the army.

In the south, the organization led by Mohammad Ghadir, alias Abdelhamid Abou Zeid, is also experiencing great difficulties. According to information gathered by Ennahar from concordant sources, two members of the group of Abu Zeid, reportedly surrendered to the security services in the region of Izekra (Tamanrasset) in the border between Algeria and Niger, following a series contacts by the security services, with the families of these last, to convince them to surrender and benefit from the provisions of national reconciliation which is still in force.

This is (A. Benkachim) from the province of Batna and (S. Hekas) from the province of El Oued.

The two gun-hung tough guys were on board a (Station 4x4) car when they surrendered. They dropped their weapons, a Kalashnikov and an "F.M". The surrender of these two gun-hung tough guys comes just days after the arrest of three gun-hung tough guys in the region, sent on mission by Droukdal.

The army forces have also succeeded a few days ago, to eliminate seven (7) dangerous gun-hung tough guys in the southern regions near the border with Mali.
