| Tizi-Ouzou bomb targets communal guards |

| [Maghrebia] A terrorist bomb attack Saturday on the communal guard headquarters in Aghribs, 50km north of Tizi Ouzou, produced no casualties, El Watan reported on Monday (December 27th). The powerful blast destroyed part of the building, which is still under construction. In other security news, the siege by ANP troops against forces of Evil holed up in an abandoned house in Dellys continued into a third day, Liberte reported Monday. To prevent civilian casualties, roads in the area were closed to traffic. One soldier has been killed and five others injured since the start of the operation. |
