| Man gunned down in tea shop in southern Thailand |

| One man was killed and another was wounded in the latest attack in Narathiwat province Sunday night. Marohsi Jehpae, 22, was enjoying tea with his friends in a tea shop when someone who arrived there by a motorcycle opened fire on the group. Morohsi died at the scene and the attack injured Abdulroh-im Useng, 59. Abdulroh-im is the owner of the shop. The initial investigation showed that a group of about ten local villagers were having tea in the evening when the two men on a motorcycle arrived at the tea shop and the pillion rider opened fire on the group. |
