21 Villages Cleared of Insurgents in Takhar | |

[Tolo News] Twenty one villages have been cleared in Afghan and Isaf military operations in northern Takhar province, local officials said. Afghan officials said the operation was launched two days ago in Khwaja Ghar district of Takhar province to wipe out the cut-thoats. More than nine hard boyz including an Tajik national were killed in different parts of this province and two others including an Uzbek Death Eater were jugged, Shah Jahan Noori, police chief of Takhar, told TOLOnews. Taliban have not yet commented.
The operations have continued in other parts of Khwaja Ghar district to clear the insecure areas in province. Takhar province is bordered by Uzbekistan and hard boyz infiltrate into Afghanistan to fight against Afghan government. | |
