40 Militants Join Peace Process
2011-02-09
[Tolo News] Nearly 40 Taliban fighters have surrendered to Afghan government in Ghor Province, local officials said.
Taking the winter off, or choosing to embrace the soft jihad of the law?
Nearly 40 Islamic fascisti including their commanders Mawlawi Zarif, Mawlawi Mohammad and Mawlawi Shafiqullah laid down arms and surrendered to authorities in Pasaband district of Ghor province on Monday, Abdul Hai, front man for governor of Ghor told TOLOnews.

The Militants' embracement of the Afghan government's peace call will improve security in the province, he added.

The surrendered men have also handed over their weapons to Afghan forces in Ghor.

The men said they have decided to make efforts to improve security in their province.

Taliban have not yet commented.

Recently Nato said that 900 Islamic fascisti have quit fighting and joined the Afghan grinding of the peace processor.

After Afghan and Nato forces' military operations in the country recently, dozens of hard boyz have started embracing the Afghan grinding of the peace processor.

President Karzai recently said at Munich Security Conference that the first phase of security transition would begin this year by March 21 which coincides with the Afghan new year.

The Afghan forces are expected to undertake full security responsibility by the end of 2014.
Will they all be able to read by then?

#2  When they surrender and turn in their weapons, they get added to the data base, I hope, like we did in Iraq, along with their personal information, fingerprints, home address, information about their friends and relations and former colleagues... It's a good thing computers keep getting smaller and more powerful.

#1  I think the only way for the militants to reliably join the peace process is toes-up.
