The Obama Administration's spineless response to Colonel Gaddafi's reign of terror

President Obama is already being outflanked by Nicolas Sarkozy, who has taken a far tougher line on Libya than his US counterpart. It is hugely embarrassing when even the French are doing more to confront a murderous dictator than the traditional leader of the free world. Frankly, President Obama makes Jimmy Carter look like General MacArthur by comparison. The US administration needs to wake up from its slumber and start showing some real leadership on the world stage in place of its existing milquetoast foreign policy.
President Sarkozy has outflanked President Obama since the day Iran's President Ahmadinejad spoke at the U.N., shortly after Obama was inaugurated. S has despised O since that day, as well.

#4  President Obama thought he could tell President Mubarak what to do because we've been giving Egypt pots of money for a generation, and could take that away. He doesn't have the same hold over Colonel Qadaffi.

#2  Sorry about this but I hit the send key before I finished my rant.

WHY did Obama call for Mubarak, who may be our only true ally other than Israel, to step down when he is sitting by tut tutting a similar situation with a known terrorist sponsor and international thug who spews anti american gibberish and sends millions in "aid" to the PLFP and other friends of terrorism?

It seems very conflicted to tell an ally to step down and then stand by with your thumb up your butt when the same phenomenon occurs with a known enemy.

Gawdalmightydang, the freaking frogs are tougher on terrorism than our thumbsucking, anal retentive, nebbish regime.
