Egypts new government sworn in |

[Ennahar] The new Egyptian government led by Essam Sharaf, sworn in Monday at the head of the Supreme Council of the armed forces, Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi, according to the state television. Six departments were renewed, including oil, which goes to Abdullah Ghorab, Culture, Justice and Labor. Foreign Affairs and the Interior were filled on Sunday. Nabil al-Arabi, replaced Ahmed Aboul Gheit at the head of diplomacy, Mansour al-Issawi was appointed to the Interior Ministry to replace Mahmoud Wagdi. The new Prime Minister Essam Sharaf was named Thursday to replace Ahmad Chafic. |
