| #2 He was surprised any Copts still remained in Egypt as a result The article mentioned the Copts are 10% of Egypt's total population. Maybe the only surprise here is that it was publicized. |

| #1 I was talking about this with Mr. Wife this morning (he does come in handy on occasion). He was not impressed. Apparently this was going on in 1987 when he was there as well, it just didn't get reported in the international press. He was surprised any Copts still remained in Egypt as a result -- his friends had left shortly after he worked there. |
