Rooters poll: 64% of Americans think U.S. is on the wrong track
2011-03-09
Wrong track. In this case, we are headed towards an oncoming freight train. Being pushed by a Mallet engine.
The proportion of Americans who believe the country is on the right track dropped 7 points in the past month to 31 percent, and 64 percent think the country is on the wrong track.
In one month. It will be interesting to see what next month holds.
It was the highest number of people in an Ipsos poll who believe the country is going in the wrong direction since Obama took office in January 2009.
Gee. It only took them 26 months to figure it out.
Ipsos pollster Cliff Young said the rating was a direct result of gasoline prices that have risen sharply in recent weeks as a result of tumult in North Africa and the Middle East.
And the fact that our leader who forgets who put him there.
"We are moving into a scenario in the near-term that is much more uncertain given the issue of gas prices," he said. "Gas prices specifically are things that affect people's pocketbooks and have an immediate impact."
And food prices. And TARP. And Obamacare. And Obamadontcareaboutthemiddleeast. And the liberal agenda is leading us over a cliff. And spending.

So I saw a poll the other day that 44% of Americans are supposed to like how Obean is doing.

It doesn't take a math major to see a disconnect here.

#6  --I guess that must mean his real approval rating must be no higher than 36% ??

#5  Wrong track? Try off track instead. Economy is not self sustaining, debt is being turned away, the cascade of rail cars are about to ram into each-other, into a mountain, and off a cliff.

#4  So, 36% of Americans suffer from a terminal nerve disorder that disconnects their cognitive functions from either their speech center or their external perceptions, or both?

Well, they are democrats.
