Ninewa police free 12 detainees

NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Ninewa police released on Wednesday 12 detainees after investigation proved they were not guilty and in response to protestersÂ’ demands, according to a police source.
A new concept for much of the Middle East...
“Ninewa police freed on Wednesday (March 9) from the anti-terror prisons,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. “They were freed as they found not guilty of charges pressed against them.”

He did not give more details.
