Obama Heads to Rio Sunday |
2011-03-16 |
I couldn't find an "abdication of leadership" category, so I figured I'd put this here. Aside from some, err, critically important leadership stuff, the Obama family will also take in the sights in Rio. A trip to Corcovado mountain, where the Christ the Redeemer statue stands (France gave us Lady Liberty, gave Brazil Jesus) is supposedly on the itinerary. What trip to Rio would be complete without it? |

#12 He doesn't exactly march to the sound of the guns, does he? More like runs like hell and cowers under his desk. |

#6 Maybe he thinks its really 'Obama the Redeemer' instead. Wouldn't put it past him (or the MSM). |

#5 Don't suppose the feckless, kafir bastard might have given any thought to flying to Narita and offering some support to MILLIONS of Japanese. |

#4 This quack will make a short speech and then proceed to waste tax payer money on an extravagantly expensive weekend vacation. Believe me. This is extragavant. My fiance is from Brazil, and a round trip ticket is at times $1,200.00 to Brazil and on to Belem, Brazil. 24 hour flight time considering all connections. And this joker is going for a day or two? Sounds like Michelle wants another "Spain" tax payer trip (that our grand kids will be paying for) but has Big Zero by her side to make it "official" looking. |

#3 Rio has two pretty good ones, the Gávea (par 68) and the Itanhanga (par 72) - both private clubs. |
