East Point -- another year of graduated officers |

Two hundred ninety-nine proud young men stood before their their instructors, their president, their families, and the army they will serve, accepting the diplomas and commissions they worked so hard to earn. They will serve for ten years, protecting their country from enemies foreign and domestic. Let us wish them the additional satisfaction of knitting their country together as the first generation of West Point graduates did the U.S. Class of 2010 -- numbering 212 Class of 2009 -- the first class, numbering 84 |
