Somali pirates hijack chemical tanker ship
2011-05-02
SEOUL, May 1 (Yonhap) -- A Singapore-registered chemical tanker with crew that include four South Koreans has been hijacked by Somali pirates, foreign ministry officials here said Sunday.
That sounds unwise for men accustomed to wandering about barefoot. That kind of thing causes impotence, or so Mr. Wife told the guys at his Egyptian supplier, to get them to wear safety shoes.
The MT Gemini, carrying 25 crew members, was boarded by pirates off Kenyan waters on Saturday, the official said, asking not to be named. Another official said the Singaporean government will deal with the incident, including possible negotiations.

The vessel had been carrying crude palm oil from Indonesia to Kenya when it was hijacked, the ministry officials said. The South Koreans aboard the MT Gemini include the 56-year-old captain identified only by his surname, Park, they said. International media reported that 13 Indonesians, three Myanmar nationals, five Chinese and four South Koreans were aboard when the ship was hijacked.

A South Korean military official said the government was not immediately considering mobilizing a warship that had been operating in the Gulf of Aden as part of a multinational anti-piracy campaign.

Foreign ministry officials said they were setting up a task force to monitor the situation, the latest in a series of hijacking cases involving South Koreans off the Somali coast.

#3  Message about the impotence, not about Mr. Wife. There's absolutely no reason why illiterate Somali pirates should care about him.

#2  Smart guy, that Mr. Wife.

Why thank you, Pollyandrew! Now, how to get the same message to pirates with no access to protective footgear in the middle of the ocean?

#1  Smart guy, that Mr. Wife. Besides, it sounds like something that could happen.
