| [Pak Daily Times] Four coppers were killed and 11 containers transporting supplies to NATO forces in Afghanistan were completely destroyed when unidentified ermed men fired rockets on NATO containers and the police checkpost on Rawalpindi-Talagang Road near Dhalya Chowk on Sunday. The attack took place in Pindi Gheb some 122 kilometres east of Islamabad. According to reports, four personnel, including sub-inspector Ramazan, constable Muhammad Munir, constable Asif Mehmood and wireless operator Zafar were killed in the rocket attack. The fire engulfed the petrol pump as the fire brigade personnel were trying to control it. As soon as the police reached the spot, the attackers managed to escape. |
