| [Yemen Post] Eyewitnesses in Zinjibar, Abyan, said that gunnies have taken over the city of Zinjibar after a complete withdrawal of government security forces last night. "Three buildings were burnt yesterday by the gunnies and they are in control now of the town," said Ali Sulaiman, a resident in Zinjibar. The opposition Joint Meeting Parties JMP yesterday in a statement that Saleh handed over the city to the gunnies to put more pressure on the international community to accept him staying longer in power. Government officials denied the JMP accusations. |
