An Iranian tribal leader and four other persons were gunned down in the Pakistani southwestern Balochistan province Saturday night, IRNA reported quoting police as saying.'Iranian tribal leader Abdul Razzaq along with four associates was travelling in a vehicle when unknown armed men riding bike opened fire at the vehicle in Turbat district,' police said. As a result, all the five people died at the scene at Mand Bloo area of Turbat district, police said.
The assailants managed to escape, they said. Security forces launched search operation to trace out the assailants. But no one has been arrested so far. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Police said they are investigating motives behind the attack.
