| 2 Iraqi soldiers killed, 4 civilians injured in Mosul |

| NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: Two Iraqi soldiers have been killed and four civilians were injured in two separate incidents in the city of Mosul, the center of north Iraq’s Ninewa Province, on Tuesday, according to a security source. “Two Iraqi soldiers were killed on Tuesday afternoon in an explosive charge blast against an Iraqi Army patrol in Qadisiya district, east of Mosul,” the security source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. He said that four civilians were injured on Tuesday afternoon by a hand-grenade, tossed by unknown gunmen in central Mosul’s Nujaify Street, before they escaped to an unknown destination. “The bomb blew up in a crowded book market, wounding the four civilians, including a 4-year-old child,” he added. |

| #1 Let's help these people.Yeah? They need our help..our sympathy....come ON, people! Don't we have an OBLIGATION to help these people? Don't we care? True, its a Moslem country with Moslem values where they throw grenades into crowds of people they dont even know and then run away and eat cous-cous, but what the hell. Its all Bush's fault, right? And ask the MSmedia why they arent all over at the Palestine Hotel in downtown Baghdad covering this ? No money in it anymore? And didnt they tell us with a straight face that the US was losing the war....it was a quagmire JUST LIKE VIETNAM? But now that the dead Muj are all out of sight and the Marines in Fallujah have gone back to Quantico and Pendleton....and the carcasses of Saddam and Zarquawi ( just where precisely ARE they buried, nobody says...) but so many of the Muj ( last I heard) are deliquescing in the sand like dog piss stains in the porch carpet. And the drive up to Baghdad was covered by Baghdad Bob so brilliantly. And that defining moment when Saddam shot down the tube to the crowd chanting 'Muqtadr..muqtadr.." And then Mookie ran away to live in Iran. Nothing but memories. And you never hear a peep out of the Democrats about how they were so brave through it all. But they are just surely being modest. |
