Old news to a lot of regular readers here at the Burg, but the writer does a nice job explaining why -- perhaps -- the Turks have become so belligerent recently. As an old man once said, "follow the money."

#1  I suspect the Turks have plenty of gas in their own country, if they could bring themselves to actually LOOK. I suspect they're scared of the Wrong People somehow being able to get ahead if they start drilling there.
