I know I left 'em somewhere around here: ICE released at least 28 Iranians in US
2011-10-19
...or it could be up to 232 for fiscal years 2009 and 2010. Hard to say when ICE isn't sure themselves.

#6  Curiously, ICE designated one of the fugitives as having an “unknown” gender.

What? Were they wearing a burqa?

Booked all but seven fugitives in three states that border on Mexico: Texas, Arizona and California?

Happenstance? Or are they coming via Mexico? Doesn't sound like they just over-stayed their visa.

#5  I know a number of Iranians. They are to a person vehemently anti-regime.

However, for all of them that are leaving Iran because they are more sectarian, it only takes ONE seriously dedicated one to cause us much eternal grief...

It's like someone in Bush's administration said:

"We have to be lucky/good 100% of the time, a terrorist only has to be lucky once."

#4  In all fairness, even back in the 1980s, Iranians living in the US were hopelessly political sectarian, their only common ground being that the Mullahs would have killed most of them at the first opportunity.

Many are still bugging out of Iran as the opportunity permits.
