| h/t Gates of Vienna It's the next step in "Polarbeargate" – one of two scientists whose report on dead polar bears in the Arctic helped make the animal a potent symbol of climate change has been asked to take a lie detector test as part of an investigation by US agents. |

| #1 A polygraph test only indicates reaction not lies or truths. Tie one of those devices up to a 14th Century bishop and ask him if the world is flat and the center of the universe and you'll get a nominal response. It's what the individual believes, not necessarily 'facts'. Remember you're dealing with some 'true believers' in the venue of MMGW regardless of conflicting/manipulated data. |
