| #2 There is no evidence that ChinaÂ’s cyber-warriors can penetrate highly secure networks or covertly steal or falsify critical data. Their cyber-warriors don't have to penetrate anything when they're selling us all of our computers. You're telling me you understand every little bit of firmware that goes into those things? Hell, they're even selling us our SSL certificates now. This guy is delusional. |

There is no evidence that China’s cyber-warriors can penetrate highly secure networks or covertly steal or falsify critical data. My. Aren't we superior. Whatever they're doing, it's working. What does that say about our actual vs. imaginary "defensive" capabilities? Our actual vs. imaginary offensive capabilities? They're installing trojans in hardware and USB devices. They're investing dollars to steal billions of technology. This paper is wishful thinking. |
