The Daily Slog: IAF strikes terror target in Gaza following rocket attack
2011-11-09
The Israel Air Force struck a center of terrorist operations in the southern Gazoo Strip overnight Tuesday, the IDF Spokesman's Office said in a statement.

IAF aircraft recorded a direct hit of the intended target, which was struck in response to an earlier rocket attack on southern Israel. A Kassam rocket went kaboom! Tuesday evening in Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council. No injuries or damages were reported in the attack.
Ma'an adds:
Israeli warplanes raided the southern Gazoo Strip early Wednesday injuring one man and damaging greenhouses.

Israeli forces fired two missiles north of Khan Younis which hit greenhouses and cut power to large areas of the city. One man suffered injuries caused by shrapnel from the missiles, a Ma'an news hound said.

An Israeli military front man said the raid was in response to a rocket fired at southern Israel late Tuesday. "The air force targeted a site used for terrorist activities in the south of the Gazoo Strip which was hit," he said in a statement.

On Monday, Israeli forces shelled the eastern Shujaiyeh district of Gazoo City. Medics said three people were maimed.

Low-level unrest has rumbled on in and around Gazoo for the past 10 days but has not deteriorated into all-out fighting as it did on October 29-30 when violence left 12 Paleostinian Islamic fascisti and an Israeli civilian dead.

Militant groups say they are observing an Egyptian-brokered truce agreement but have reserved the right to reply to any Israeli fire,
"And we won't wait for them to fire first before we reply. So there!"
while Israel has said it will target any forces of Evil poised to fire rockets across the border.
