Egypt Army refers 164 suspects to public prosecution for inciting Cairo violence
2011-12-19
[Al Ahram] The Egyptian Army on Sunday referred suspects to the public prosecution on charges of inciting the festivities between the military and protesters on Qasr El-Aini Street, which have left 10 dead since Friday morning.
The suspects include nine women, according to the state-run news agency
...and if you can't believe the state-run news agency who can you believe?...
MENA.

They face charges of setting a number of buildings on fire, assaulting military and police personnel, and throwing stones and Molotov cocktails.

More than 500 protesters have been injured after the Army clamped down on a sit-in outside the Cabinet offices off Qasr El-Aini Street early Friday, a short distance from Tahrir Square.

#2  And have live footage of the Tahir mess. The tear gas is expired, but the rounds are non-lethal.

#1  It seems as though a vast majority of the Egyptian public supports the military crackdown. These agitators are mainly supported by outside money and radical Islamists parties.
The majority of sane Egyptians want these agitators removed and want life to settle back to normal without extreme Islam taking control. The military clamping down is the firewall of last resort.
