| #1 An individual identified as a "white supremicist" (Chicago Nazi) sent a bomb to a black city employee in Scottsdale, of all places. His identical twin brother was acquitted. He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 22 on counts of conspiracy to damage buildings and property by means of explosives; of malicious damage of a building by means of explosives; and distribution of information related to explosives. When sentenced, he faces up to 100 years in jail and fines of up to $500,000, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. The government used a confidential informant to make its case, the defense calling the woman "a trailer park Mata Hari". |
