QUETTA: Three gas pipelines were blown up in Pirkoh area of Dera Bugti on Saturday, disrupting gas supply to purification plant. According to official sources, unidentified militants planted explosive materials along three gas pipelines, which were supplying gas to the purification plant and detonated it with a remote control. As result, the gas pipelines were blown up and gas supply to the plant was suspended. A heavy contingent of security forces reached the sites soon after the explosion and threw a cordon in the area.
“Three gas pipelines were blown up in Pirkoh area,” an official from Dera Bugti confirmed. The law enforcement agencies have launched a manhunt in the area.
