How Iran might respond to Israeli attack
2012-03-07

#12  OOOOPPSIES, forgot TOPIX > [Wash Times] INSIDE THE RING: NORTH KOREA'S ICBM, which US Intel fears may sell to Iran.

Iran would love an Islamist, pro-Iran Azeri Govt. in NUKE-ARMED AZERBAIJAN, albeit any Nukes-WMDS the latter has are Russian-contolled.

"STRANGE BEDFELLOWS" MAY NOT BE STRANGE AT ALL???

#11  And other Muslim States???

* DEFENCE.PK/FORUMS this AM > PAKISTAN POSSESSES 110 NUCLEAR WEAPONS, REPORT SAYS.

We know Pakland stands agz any attack on fellow Muslim State Iran - OTOH, besides the threat from various domestic MilTerr Groups whom demand to stay armed, PAKISTAN IS REPOR AT RISK FROM 1970's IRAN-SYLE ISLAMIC UPRISING + ONGOING
POLITICAL-LEGAL-ELECTORAL JIHAD ["Pakistan Spring/Autumn"].

IMO the US recognizes the PRO-IRAN, NON-IRANIAN, EXISTENTIAL? THREAT TO ISRAEL as per repor [worst-case]Contingency Plans to deploy US Troops to Pakistan to secure Pakistan's Nuke Arsenal, in case Peace Talks = Govt-Taliban/Militant powersharing blows up in Islamabad's face. Ditto per the other "Arab Springs" + new Nuke-loving Islamist Govts-Order.

#10  B.P. #6, Correct -- but only if you expect that "ally" to commit suicide why your nation diddles itself.

P.S. "diddle" == jack off.

#8  The punch line to the entire article:

nobody yet believes Iran has a nuclear bomb

Nowhere in this article do any of the genuises at ISII, Brookings, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, University of Notre Dame, etc., even raise the consideration that Iran might far enough along to develop a weapon, or proffer options when a nuclear weapon is developed.

#7  I think a certain segment of elites quietly wish that Iran would solve the middle east problem. Thus they drag their feet and get ready to villify Iran afterwards.

#6  EoZ proving what a "wonderful" "ally" Israel is...

#5  Don't be silly, #4 AH.

Look at where their sympathies/loyalties lie. They already know exactly what Iran will do - and are trying to hide it from distract the proles until it's too late.

#4  This and all similar articles are flawed by a refusal to state what Iran might do if not attacked and if allowed to develop nuclear weapons. THAT is the issue.

What to do you expect from a Brit ?
I look forward to the day Britain is annexed to Soddy Arabia. At least that would solve the question whether the British are Suni or Shiite

#2  To say this author understates the threat is an understatement.

#1  The WWII Hiroshima and Nagasakia scenario provides both a template and a precedent for very effective conflict secession. Tehran vacation timeshares might not be a wise investment at the moment.
