| #3 Many moons ago, I was watching some news footage boo-hooing the appalling conditions in some Paleo refugee camp. Being a traditionalist, the phrase "refugee camp" calls up images of tents, porta-johns, food lines and fly-bitten orphans. What the news clip showed where multi-story cinder block buildings. Not exactly the hardship and deprivation story they were trying to sell. Nice to see property values have gone up. |
