| Sudan Rejects U.N. Security Council Role in Border Dispute |

| [An Nahar] Sudan on Saturday rejected U.N. Security Council involvement in efforts to end weeks of border festivities with South Sudan, which said it repelled an attack by Khartoum-backed rebels. "Sudan confirms that it rejects any efforts to disturb the African Union ...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco.
