Iraqi court orders release of Hezbollah prisoner |

A court in Iraq found a Hezbollah commander accused of killing U.S. troops in 2007 not guilty for lack of evidence and ruled that he be set free. Terror experts have said Daqduq, a Lebanese commander for Hezbollah, is among "the worst of the worst" Daqduq was caught in late 2007 and held in U.S. custody in Iraq as authorities tried to decide where to charge him. When the American military withdrew from Iraq late in December, U.S. officials were forced to hand over Daqduq to Iraqi authorities. Too bad he didn't die of 'acute cirrhosis' while in custody... |
