| School Fire in Kabul Believed to be Deliberate |

| [Tolo News] Foul play is being suspected as the cause of a school fire in Kabul city's District 7 on Thursday night, school officials said. While most of the school desks and scaffolding remain, the canvas structure Ghazi Abdullah khan Achakzai school was burned away in a blaze which is being treated as deliberate. School director Azimulldin Fayez told TOLOnews that the enemies of Afghanistan are trying to stop the development of education. "Of course, it is clear that the enemies of Afghanistan and religion have done all this - they are not allowing the Afghan people to get an education," Fayez said. The blaze happened when it was already late in the evening, it was dark, and no one was present at the school, he added. |
