(SANA) -- A car exploded on Friday on al-Mazzeh highway near the area leading to Kafrsouseh causing material damage only.The explosion was caused by the blast of an explosive device planted in the Mercedes car by an armed terrorist.
SANA reporter quoted a source at Damascus Police Department as saying that the car was parked on the roadside and was remotely detonated in an area that witnesses heavy traffic movement.
Law-enforcement Member Martyred in Deir Ezzor
A law-enforcement member was martyred in a clash between authorities and an armed terrorist group which attacked citizens and law-enforcement forces in Deir al-Ateeq neighborhood in Deir Ezzor City.
A source in the province told SANA reporter that the clash resulted in heavy losses among the terrorists.
3 Boats Filled with Weapons and Terrorists Destroyed
The security authorities clashed with armed terrorist groups boarding three boats coming from the Iraqi territories in the Euphrates.

SANA reporter cited a source in the province as saying that the bus was laden with an amount of explosives that exploded on the road near the abovementioned site killing the two terrorists who were inside the bus.
The reporter said that no injuries among the passersby were reported.
The Authorities Clash with Terrorists in al-Qseir, Homs
The authorities in Homs countryside confronted an armed terrorist groups that was attacking the law enforcement forces in al-Abboudiyeh in al-Qseir countryside.
According to a source in the province, the clash resulted in heavy losses among the terrorists and injury among the authorities' members.
