| ASWJ executes two men in Guri'el town for 'killings' |

| (Sh. M. Network)-The authorities of administration of Ahlu Sunna Waljama'a (ASWJ), a pro-government militia, have today on Thursday carried out an execution sentence against two men in their stronghold central town ofGuri'elfor killings in the past. The pair, reportedly teenagers, have been alleged of murdering a father and his son in the town under unknown circumstances in Galgadud state, central Somalia. "Today we executed two men charged with killing allegation. Both were publicly rubbed out by shooting squad in a square in Guri'el town of Galgadud region in accordance with Islamic law," said ASWJ official. ASWJ gunnies walked through the town's streets, telling residents about the executions by loudspeaker and ordering everyone to attend, reports said. This is not the first time ASWJ executes people accusing them being spies to their enemies [Al shabab] and for those who commit civilian killings inside their stronghold areas in Somalia. |
