[Yemen Post] The security authorities have been placed on high alert across the republic of Yemen after uncovering Al-Qaeda plans to target military and security targets, the interior ministry reported on Saturday.Deadly suicide kabooms have been recently carried out in several Yemeni cities including the capital Sanaa, with military and security officers, personnel, cadets and offices key targets.
The bombings, some claimed by Al-Qaeda and others blamed on it, appeared to be in retaliation after the army had driven forces of Evil out of their strongholds and killed hundreds of them including big shots in the past few months.
All those in military and security headquarters and posts including checkpoints and entries were ordered to stay alert to face possible terrorist attacks, it said.
"The orders came after discovering plans to use Al-Qaeda forces of Evil in security and military uniforms to attack security and military targets including camps," the ministry added.
