Research War on Affirmative Action

With the U.S. Supreme Court about to hear arguments in a case that could decide the fate of affirmative action in admissions, a research war has broken out. Defenders and critics of the consideration of race are releasing new studies (some of which were submitted in briefs to the court) on the impact of affirmative action.

Several studies presented Friday at the Brookings Institution suggested that eliminating the consideration of race would not have as dramatic an effect on minority students as some believe, and that the beneficiaries of affirmative action may in fact achieve less academic success than they would otherwise.
Yea, but what would somebody like Liz Warren do?

#2  The General reluctantly instructs the colonel, "I wish we could send more, but we can spare only 14 men for the parade". The colonel instructs the Major, "we must send at least 50 men to the parade". The Major instructs the Captain, we must send two platoons to the parade". The Captain informs the First Sergeant to assemble the entire company, less the mess section, for parade.

Obey the letter of the law or modify it by the Article V process. Anything else is just the exercise of pure POWER rending law as simply anything those in power declare it to be at anytime they so wish, the capricious and arbitrary rule of men previously known as monarchy or aristocracy.
