| #1 Here's some numbers to crunch - 2008 Obama 69,456,897 McCain 59,934,814 2012 Obama 60,432,728 Romney 57,631,410 Those 9 million disenchanted voters didn't turn for Romney, they just didn't show up to vote for the office of president. Tacking to center didn't entice them to switch their behavior. Meanwhile Romney/Ryan lost over 2 million votes from McCain/Palin. I'd say that Palin really wasn't the problem so many made her out to be. So where did those 2 million go? |
