#5 what is interesting is that all the Screamliners that have experienced Chevy-Volt-like symtoms were built in Everett ( union) and not Charleston ( non-union) An interesting data point. Union guys playing hardball/getting paybacks, or just slacking? |

#4 And what the article doesn't say is that another oeprator inspected the wiring back in the APU area and found it installed incorrectly. did not elaborate on just how it was incorrect, could be a simple clamp mis-alignment. or something bigger. what is interesting is that all the Screamliners that have experienced Chevy-Volt-like symtoms were built in Everett ( union) and not Charleston ( non-union) despite Seattle Times bloggers protestations to the contrary. and we haven't had enough operations yet to determine any weak areas or ramp rash issues with the composite structure. still sticking with my 5 year break in period before i climb into one. |
