Mayadeen TV reported Syria had shot down an Israeli craft over Deir al Ashayer, a village near Lebanese border.
Damas Post quoted witnesses as saying they saw burning wreckage fall from the sky over the village of Yanta in eastern Leb.
Earlier on Wednesday, Lebanese news agencies reported Israeli warplanes conducted multiple overflights and "mock raids" over southern Leb.
